Welcome to Yucatan Beach Rentals!  We offer two excellent vacation homes on Mexico's Gulf Coast.

Telchac Puerto:  a quaint fishing village located on the north shore of the Yucatan featuring pristine white sandy beaches - you can walk for miles!  Telchac Puerto is about 30 minutes East of the port city of Progreso directly on the Gulf of Mexico.  This house is called La Casa de Los Pinos , The House of the Pines.  Click on the button to the left to learn more about this fantastic beachfront pool home and check out the pictures!

Chuburna Puerto:  a quiet fishing village located on the Gulf Coast about 15 minutes to the West of the port city of Progreso.  The name of this property is Na Xaman Ik, The House of the North Wind.  This guesthouse is very private, totally enclosed by walls with a huge pool and offers a variety of rooms and suites.  Click on the button to the left to learn more about this wonderful guesthouse with a huge pool and lots of decks/patios for sunning and relaxing!

We highly recommend car rentals for both these locations!  There are combis (little vans) and a few buses that do run from these villages throughout the day into Progreso where there are grocery stores, shopping, restaurants and banks. 

These locations ARE NOT NEAR CANCUN!  We are located about 5-6 hours away from Cancun.  The closest airport is MERIDA International Airport in the cosmopolitan city of Merida, Mexico.  We will pick you up from the airport and take you to your vacation location if you do not choose to rent a car.  These houses are about 1 hour from the airport.

Things to see and do in the area include:  Chichen Itza (2 hours by car);  fishing with the locals;  strolling the beaches;  hunting for seashells;  Dzbilchatun (40 minutes by car);  Uxmal (2 hours by car);  dinner at Hacienda Xcanatun (40 minutes by car);  exploring the great colonial city of Merida (40 minutes by car);  attending free evening events in Merida's parks;  eating seafood at one of the many seafood restaurants in the area;  shopping in Progreso and Merida;  and just hanging in a hammock sipping a cool drink in the shade!
